Yverdon-les-Bains
2nd largest city of Canton Vaud, Yverdon-les-Bains is situated at the south edge of Lake de Neuchâtel.
Thanks to the thermal baths already used by the Romans, Yverdon-les-Bains is a major attraction for health tourists and spa cure.
The city is well known for its castle from the 13th century and its pedestrian zone welcoming regularly an authentically market. You’ll also find a large sandy beach at the lake shore together with the Pro Natura Centre; many areas dedicated to business (Y-Parc and St-Roch Centre) and vocational trainee (HEIG-VD); an aerodrome with a concrete runway and well equipped for night flights.

Yverdon-les-Bains is a stopping point on the Route 5 of Veloland Switzerland, of the Grand Tour and also of the Via Salina and Via Francigena.
